Empower Future Creative Leaders
While the global COVID-19 pandemic has caused much uncertainty and has posed several challenges, our LCAD team has worked hard to ensure the College advances strategically as we look toward our promising future. Our supporters have made it possible for LCAD to continue on in the face of adversity. For this, we will remain forever grateful.
Thanks to your support and the College's responsible business practices, we are continuing to provide our students with the highest quality art and design education through innovative online options and we have invested in maintaining our full-time faculty and staff. We plan to reopen the LCAD campus for the Fall 2020 semester in adherence with all recommended social distancing guidelines from the CDC and the State of California.
We still need your help!
Due to COVID-19, we have been forced to cancel our annual Silent Auction and to postpone other crucial fundraising events that fund student scholarships. We have set a goal to raise $150,000 to fulfill our shortfall by Friday, June 12, 2020. Our dedicated Board of Trustees have already committed to contribute $276,000 toward our overall annual goal.
There never has been a more pressing moment in LCAD’s history in which your unrestricted gift would be so valued and so timely. Please join us in our efforts to achieve our fundraising goal, as these funds will provide vital support to our core programs, to student services that are essential to our students’ academic and professional success, and to our community at large.
We look to the changing future with optimism and hope you will join us in empowering a new generation of creative leaders to reach their full potentials and to making positive impacts.
Thank you for your confidence in LCAD.
Your gift will assist and empower LCAD in:
- Providing more scholarship support and financial aid for students.
- Recruiting and retaining the best and brightest faculty members and students.
- Offering leading-edge technologies and valuable career preparation.
- Opening doors to exceptional learning opportunities beyond the classroom.
All contributions to LCAD are received warmly and appreciated deeply.
